Beginning January 1, 2023, if you buy a qualified used electric vehicle (EV) or fuel cell vehicle (FCEV) from a licensed dealer for $25,000 or less, you may be eligible for a used clean vehicle tax credit. The credit equals 30% of the sale price up to a maximum credit of $4,000. Conditions apply.

Plug-In Electric Vehicle Tax Credit

Qualified all-electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) titled and registered in Colorado are eligible for a tax credit.

Income-qualified Xcel Energy customers may be eligible to receive a rebate on the purchase or lease of a qualifying used electric vehicle (all electric or plug-in hybrid). Conditions apply.

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Up to $1,000

Customers who purchase qualified residential fueling equipment after January 1, 2023, may receive a tax credit of up to $1,000.

EV Charger and Wiring Rebate

Up to $1,300

Xcel Energy customers may be eligible to receive a rebate on an EV charger and home wiring costs related to installing a Level 2 charger at their residence. Conditions apply.
